Nearly a third of the 104 HBCUs in the U.S. have radio stations. Many have provided listeners with news, information, and entertainment for over fifty years. We work with active non-commercial FM stations and library archives to preserve the sounds and memories of HBCU radio, along with the story-keepers of trailblazing institutions that have gone off the air.
