HBCU radio staff, librarians and archivists, listening audiences, and practitioners interested in doing radio preservation have multiple ways of getting involved with the project.
We provide mini-grants, as well as training and workshops for stations, archivists, and community members. We hire a graduate fellow and intern each year with the goal of educating and mentoring young professionals in audio preservation and oral history recording. We recruit recent HBCU grads, helping to ensure the infusion of new energy in communications and heritage professions.
