From July 19-25, members of the HBCU Radio Preservation Project team will travel to Alabama for a week of site visits to three historic HBCU radio stations. During the week, we plan to visit WJOU 90.1 FM at Oakwood University, WJAB 90.9 FM at Alabama A&M University, and WVAS 90.7 FM at Alabama State University. These visits will include meeting with station personnel, documenting station’s histories and identifying audio materials for preservation.
