Nearly a third of the 104 Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the U.S. have radio stations. Many have provided listeners with news, information, and entertainment for over fifty years. We work with active non-commercial FM stations and library archives to preserve the sounds and memories of HBCU radio, along with the story-keepers of trailblazing institutions that have gone off the terrestrial airwaves.
